The Secret Psychology of Health |A Segment From My Ebook
The first step to changing your attitude towards your health is Awareness. You must first be aware of all your disempowering and non supportive beliefs to be able to change them. Then, we will instill a new belief system that will completely Transform your attitude.
Here are some non supportive beliefs. Feel free to add any additional ones that you might think of.
- Working out is so hard
- It hurts
- I don’t have enough time
- I don’t have enough money
- I’m not ready
- I’ll do it tomorrow or next week or next month or I’ll make it my new years resolution.
- I don’t know how
- I feel uncomfortable
- I’m tired
- I’m sore
- I eat good most of the time
- Something is better than nothing
- What if, what if, what if
- But, but, but, but, but
These are the most common things that I hear. I have been there too, but as soon as I became aware of the non supportive beliefs, it made keeping a positive mental outlook A LOT EASIER!
It’s hard, I don’t have enough time, I’m tired, I don’t know how…..these are all your own personal beliefs. Truthfully, they are really just excuses. The only reason that these thoughts even exist is because you hold them to be true and you hang on to them with everything that you have because you fear change. Don’t fear it, embrace it. It’s positive change, it will give you so many wonderful things in your life.
Beliefs are simply just thoughts that you hold to be true. They are not right and they are not wrong. They are just simply what you believe them to be. If you think it’s going to be hard, then it will be. You beliefs can either be empowering or disempowering, it’s whichever you choose that will make your own reality.
Since you discovered your “why”, it’s now time to choose a new attitude and a new set of beliefs if you want to succeed at this. If you really want to understand your belief system, simply look at your life. In your life, you will always act or not act as a result of your beliefs!
Those actions create your results and your reality. It’s all a result of what you hold to be true in your mind. Your attitude!

You have to have empowering thoughts. You have to empower yourself to achieve greatness. Here are some empowering thoughts that you should keep in your mind, because they ARE TRUE! Write them down and read them out loud every morning. Put your hand on your chest so that you can feel the vibration when you speak them. I know, it’s sounds silly, but it works. Do it for one week straight everyday and then tell me I’m wrong. Don’t stop at a week, do it everyday!
- I deserve to be healthy
- I deserve to be happy
- I respect my body and will take good care of it
- I will think healthy thoughts
- I will choose healthy, supportive friends
- I will achieve my Ultimate Health goals
- I will exercise regularly
- I will only eat and drink wholesome, healthy foods
- I will feel and look younger
- I wake up each day feeling grateful for my health.
- I have plenty of energy for all that I need to accomplish every day
- I will go to sleep each evening grateful for another healthy day, knowing that my Ultimate Health goals are with in my reach.
- I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN HEALTH!
There are 2 reason why people usually don’t get what they want.
- They don’t know what they want.
- They don’t know why they want it.
Guess what, neither of those are you. You now have overcome the 2 main obstacles of achieving great success in health. Now all you have to do is take the action.
You have now gained your clarity. You know what you want ( to live a happy, healthy life free from physical suffering) and you know why you want it.
Clarity equals Power! You already posses the Power to achieve the Ultimate Health goals that you desire. Believe it or not that’s the hardest part!
Power is the ability to do or Act. The only thing that will keep you from achieving your goals now is not taking action. Reaching Ultimate Health is simply a choice.
The only thing that’s left that could be holding you back is FEAR! The definition of FEAR is “the anticipation of pain”. Do you know what state anticipation is in? It’s in the future, when you are anticipating something, it hasn’t happened yet, therefore it’s not even real. It only exists in your mind. There is nothing to FEAR, the future doesn’t even exist yet.
Think about this, there’s a guy standing on the ground looking up a 40 foot ladder scared to death. He is full of FEAR! WHY, he’s standing on the ground?
Truly successful people hold one great asset over the rest. There ability to Act regardless of any FEARS they may have.
Everyone has FEARS, it’s a completely natural feeling. The difference is whether you let it stop you. You have to do whatever it takes!

That wish must be stronger than your fear. Your why must be big enough for you to act in spite of fear, doubt or worry! You are worthy of better health, except it, embrace it and enjoy it NOW!
Whether you really believe or do not believe that you are worthy, it’s all just a story in your mind. If you say that you are worthy you are and if you say that you are not, you’re not. Change your story, become who you want to be. I have already shown you that you have the power, now all it takes is consistent action and the right attitude! Repeat your declarations every time you feel scared, unworthy or any other non supportive thought comes in to your mind.
Let’s face it, if what you were doing was working then you wouldn’t be reading this. Everything happens for a reason. You are reading this right now because it’s time for you. It’s time for you to start making better choices with your health. If you are one of those “most of the time” kind of people, the you need to step it up and strive for greatness and stop settling for mediocrity. You can handle it. You can handle anything and you will!
Your made up story in your head with all the obstacles in the way of Ultimate Health owns you! Make a new story for yourself. Become who you want to be and own yourself! Be true to yourself!
All the negative and non supporting thoughts are what’s keeping you from greatness and Ultimate Health! Are you willing to continue to let it stop you?
The truth is that as soon as you stop focusing on all the problems that you have and the health that you don’t have and start focusing on your goals and your vision, the sooner you will reach them! Get out of your own way and commit to achieving your goals. If you are 100% committed, then you WILL NOT FAIL!
There’s a saying that “God helps those who helps themselves.” It doesn’t matter what your beliefs are, maybe your Buddhist or something else. The point is that it rings true no matter where you come from or what your beliefs are. If you are taking consistent action to help yourself, then good things will start happening for you. Don’t get me wrong, there will still be challenges, but you will push right through them and take them as a learning experience and not see them as “problems”.
Your attempts don’t have to be perfect, nobody’s are. Nobody has all the answers and people always fall off the horse. Speaking of a horse, it’s like riding a bull ( I thought he said horse?). Have you ever watched a bull rider? It’s not pretty, but he gets on there and does what he has to do for 8 seconds and gets no points for style! He just takes action. Take action and redirect as you learn more and grow.
The key is to take consistent action and redirect as you become more educated about your health needs. Do you remember the space shuttle Apollo? The Apollo mission was only on target 3% of the time. The rest of the time they were learning and redirecting. This is what you need to do. Keep learning and redirecting!

Give it 100% the first time or the next time if you are just getting back on the horse ( or bull). What if you don’t get another chance? Hundreds of thousands of people DIE every single day from sickness and diseases related to lack of exercise and poor nutritional habits. Will you be next?
Have you asked someone how or why they did something and there response was “I just did it” or “I just do it”? It sounds so simple, but the truth is that some people have gotten to the point of self mastery that they cannot honestly explain why they did something or how they do certain things. In many cases, this is one of those people who also makes this statement “because that is who I am”. Have you heard that one too?
So, it is my goal to inspire and transform you in to that person that you want to be. To take consistent action in your life to achieve your Ultimate Health Goals and when people ask you how you did it, you say “That’s what I do, because that’s who I am” I just do it” and when you say those things, it will be the truth, that’s who you will be and it will come without hesitation. That’s who you will be!
By knowing what you want, why you want it and choosing the right attitude, you can become unstoppable! You will NEVER give up! You can be each player in the game of life, heck you can be the referee and make up your own rules. It’s your life and you can chose to live longer and be healthier if that’s who you want to be.
