As many of my readers know, I am a HUGE fan of Anthony Robbins and the work he does. Since huge part of my drive and direction of this site is the “mental fitness”, I thought I would share this new interview with Anthony Robbins.

Some of the highlights of the Anthony Robbins Interview:

1. How depression occurs when our life fails to match up with what our expectations may be.

2.
How Anthony Robbins himself has reached bottom in his own life.

3. Anthony talks about his tumor and facing a fatal situation in his life.

4. He talks about his work with Mike Tyson.

5.
Anthony’s message to the people “My message to people is, look, it’s not easy. But nothing in life is permanent, no problem is permanent. Your soul’s permanent. Nothing is so pervasive that you can’t recover from it if you change your psychology and you’re willing to do something to get out of yourself.”

These are just a few of the awesome things that he speaks about. Enjoy! :-)

Asking yourself questions is a really good and effective way of coming up with answers and direction. If you ask yourself questions like ” what can I do better to improve my healh?” You will likely fing that you will get some answers from within.

As the answers come to you, be sure to write them down in a journal, become aware of them and figure out how you can incorporate it in to your daily life.

This is a method used by many top motivational speakers like Anthony Robbins and other teachers, counselors, etc. in different industries.

This is one of the techniques that I have used with my clients for over 10 years and have had consistent and amazing results. I talk about this in detail in my most recent book. Get the download version of my book by clicking here and asking me for your FREE copy!

In closing here is tip to make this process really effective. When you go to bed at night, ask yourself whatever questions you want based on what areas of your life that you want to change. Ask yourself “have I done my best to ____________? What can I do better tomorrow?”

Write down whatever thoughts that come to you and read them aloud. When you rise in the morning read them again and start your day with the intention of being better at whatever it is that you want to be better at.

I am declaring this day a day for change. Because you can only grow and become better by becoming aware of what you want and having the willingness to change.

So, here is what I propose to you as the reader. Take 5 seconds and think about what area of your health and overall wellbeing that you would like to change. Quickly tell yourself “I am committed to do whatever it takes to make this my reality”.

Now that you have made that commitment to yourself, make it to someone else. Call or email a friend and share your commitment with them and ask them to hold you accountable. This works so put your pride and your ego aside an do it.

If you are already whining and complaining in your mind right now….it’s NEVER going to work. Accept responsibility for your life and just fricken do it!

Your thoughts can hold you back, so let’s see if we can help with that eh? Many times when we want to do something this little voice steps in and tells us something non supportive of who we want to be. Here are a few common things that I hear……….

1. Working out is so hard

2. It hurts
3. I don’t have enough time
4. I don’t have enough money
5. I’m not ready
6. I’ll do it tomorrow or next week or next month or I’ll make it my new years resolution.
7. I don’t know how
8. I feel uncomfortable
9. I’m tired
10. I’m sore
11. I eat good most of the time
12. Something is better than nothing
13. What if, what if, what if
14. But, but, but, but, but

This is a short list of non supportive things that people tell themselves. Surely you can identify. The key is to replace these negative thoughts with supportive thoughts. Here are some that may help. Put your hand on your chest, say them out loud and feel the vibration and energy. Notice the difference in the way you feel when saying these things in comparison to the non supportive things listed above. I know it sounds corny, but just do it. It works.

I like to call these The Ultimate Health Declarations!

1. I deserve to be healthy
2. I deserve to be happy
3. I respect my body and will take good care of it
4. I will think healthy thoughts
5. I will choose healthy, supportive friends
6. I will achieve my Ultimate Health goals
7. I will exercise regularly
8. I will only eat and drink wholesome, healthy foods
9. I will feel and look younger
10. I wake up each day feeling grateful for my health.
11. I have plenty of energy for all that I need to accomplish every day
12. I will go to sleep each evening grateful for another healthy day, knowing that my Ultimate Health goals are with in my reach.
13. I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN HEALTH!

There are 2 reason why people usually don’t get what they want.

1. They don’t know what they want.
2. They don’t know why they want it.

“We can change our lives. We can do, have and be exactly what we wish.”

-Anthony Robbins

That wish must be stronger than your fear. Your why must be big enough for you to act in spite of fear, doubt or worry! You are worthy of better health, except it, embrace it and enjoy it NOW!

3 things that will help you achieve any goal!

1. Clarity of exactly what it is that you want.
2. A commitment to yourself and someone else to make this your reality. NO EXCUSES!
3. Setting specific goals for what you want to achieve!
4. Develop a plan of attack to achieve those goals!
5. Taking consistent action towards that goal!

This may sound crazy, but to truly change your body you have to change who you are. Your body is merely a reflection of the many aspects of who you are as a person. Most people fail in there efforts to achieve good physical health only because of there lack of a balanced mind, body and spirit. In most cases people try to deal with each one separately, but in reality they are all one and function together as one. I talk a lot about this in my recent ebook.

Here’s another thing. Have you ever heard people say that you need “will power”? Will power will not permanently change your physical body. Will power implies that you don’t even want to be doing whatever it is that you need the will power for.

Whatever your goals are, they have to be something that you truly want. It has to be who you want to be. You have to really want to become that person, with that body, with that health to really achieve and maintain those goals. The true Ultimate Health comes when there is a shift in who that person wants to be. Who do you want to be?

“It is not about doing anything, it’s truly about becoming!”

People in general just do not like change and usually we resist it all together. I don’t understand why, but even for positive change we resist. Whenever we make positives changes in our lives, especially with our mind, body and spirit, there is a ripple effect of good things that occur and will continue to occur as a result of our positive changes.

More of the truth, people usually always fail because they are just not mentally ready to make the change. Many people take actions that may appear of those who are ready, but deep down inside they are still the “I’ll eat good most of the time” kind of guy or gal and are not ready to embrace that new you yet! That attitude of “I’ll eat good most of the time” is a mirror of there life. They’ll do the right thing “most of the time.”

Are you a “most of the time” kind of person? Accomplish your goals and then be a most of the time kind of person.

Here’s the best part. We can change our mind at any time. If you want to think, live and eat a certain way, then you have to change the way your mind looks at everything. You have to change your attitude towards your health. This is the secret psychology of health. that I talk about in my new book.
