There are many weight loss pills on the market and most of them are not verified by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). I would have to say that at least 2 times per day I see a TV ad claming they have the best pill on the market, but yet this hasn’t been backed by the FDA.
What’s an effective dietary supplement?
There’s only one that worked for me, but you still have to exercise in addition to taken this supplement. Before the ban on Ephedra, which has now been lifted for over 2 years, I was using Ephedrine. This supplement provided energy, and worked as an appetite suppressant. It’s not a supplement that should be used abusively or for recreational usage. You should always consult with your doctor anytime you are going to introduce something into your body.
There’s no such thing as an easy quick fix in losing weight. The only two things that work 100% of the time are exercise and diet. We talked about this in a previous post on “Take baby steps” in order to start your path to healthy living. I don’t encourage anyone to use drugs that will give you an edge as they have many side effects that are more harmful than obesity.
Always read warning labels if you’re going to try any dietary supplement. You should always consult with your physician before you start any program whether it is exercising, taking supplements, etc.
