Laughter is good medicine for Ultimate Health. Laughter will actually activate chemistry in your body to give you a better attitude and outlook on life. Laughter will also help your body fight disease. The benefits of laughter seem limitless including relaxing the body which reduces issues associated with high blood pressure, strokes, arthritis, and even ulcers.

There is plenty of historic research that has shown distressing emotions (depression, anger, anxiety, and stress) are all related to heart disease. A study done at the University of Maryland Medical Center suggests that a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at stressful situations helps mitigate the damaging physical effects of distressing emotions.

Some other benefits of laughter include:
• reduces stress
• lowers blood pressure
• elevates mood
• boosts immune system
• improves brain functioning
• protects the heart
• connects you to others
• foster instant relaxation
• makes you feel good.

Laughter is good medicine after all.

Okay, now that we’ve explored some of the benefits of laughter,
