Swimming is the best means for a whole body workout, it helps to maintain cardiovascular activity and it strengthens the muscles at the same time. A woman feels lighter in the water; it provides her body some rest. Dancing, on the other hand is one of the most enjoyable means to stay healthy during pregnancy, the songs will lift your mood and you get to share am intimate moment with your partner, the child’s consciousness will also positively be affected by the music.
Low impact Aerobics are best done in classes, these workouts are perfect for mothers everywhere as they get to socialize, and get to talk to other mothers, another advantage is that since that classes are scheduled you don’t get to miss a workout and there is a professional trainer who males sure that you don’t over do it.
Flexibility is also a major concern for moms to be, yoga is a highly recommended method to increase flexibility, Yoga has special poses just for pregnant women, it tones the necessary muscles, and allows for a better mental being by reducing stress. Yoga with a swimming and walking can make for a really health pregnancy. Stretching is the best way to keep the body agile, it makes a woman relaxed and there is less chance of a muscle strain.
Those pregnant women who were into weight training before pregnancy, can continue, but the weights used should be reduced, good technique and precaution should be taken while using weights, also make sure an experienced trainer is their, to guide you.
Always make sure that you are to get yourself checked by a doctor regularly during the pregnancy exercises. These exercises can surely lead you towards a healthy childbirth.

Actually, I was in kempo until I got pregnant. I stopped right away, as it’s just not condusive for a pregnant woman to get punched in the stomach, lol.
Walking worked well for me, my recommendation is to get a pair of Crocs. They may not be labeled walking shoes, but they work for swelling, sore feet. I ended up doing yoga from my first trimester through my second. I absolutely loved it! My third I had to stop, as I couldn’t even walk:-)
Swimming was fun, cause you get to show off your belly!
